PAILICO (06/G 786) es el proyecto de investigación principal del Centro de Literatura Comparada (FFL, UNCuyo), vigente desde hace más de una década. Está dirigido actualmente por la Prof. Emérita Lila Bujaldón y co-dirigido por la Dra. Paula Simón. Sus integrantes son: Natalí Arias, Guadalupe Barandica, Belén Bistué, Mariela Calderón, Graciela Caram, Gonzalo Córdoba Saavedra, Elena Duplancic, Claudia Garnica, Lía Mallol, Rodrigo Robert, Melisa Stocco, María Troiano, María Ester Vazquez. PAILICO lleva adelante proyectos grupales e individuales y sub-proyectos en los que intervienen actualmente 15 (quince) integrantes. Tiene como objetivo central el desarrollo, la actualización y la difusión de los estudios comparatistas en Argentina. Entre los proyectos individuales se hallan estudios sobre Literatura de Viajes, Imagología literaria, Literatura y catástrofes históricas, Literatura de Exilio, Escrituras nómades, Traducción y autotraducción, Literatura de Migrantes, Transdiscursividades, Literatura de pueblos originarios e Historia de la Literatura Comparada.A partir de 2018 destacamos la doble edición digital anual del Boletín de Literatura Comparada (BLC) en la plataforma OJS y el ingreso a nuevos índices internacionales (https://revistas.uncu.edu.ar/ojs3/index.php/boletinliteratura/presentacion).El PAILICO incluye el subproyecto ?Bibliografía Argentina de Literatura Comparada (BIALICO)? dedicado a la confección de bibliografías detalladas y comentadas del trabajo comparatista llevado a cabo en nuestro país por escritores, críticos, teóricos, historiadores de la literatura y profesores universitarios de prestigio. Este subproyecto se propone, además de relevar la obra comparatista de cuño argentino, reflexionar sobre el desarrollo del comparatismo en Argentina desde una perspectiva histórica y crítica. Otros subproyectos en marcha están dedicados, por un lado, a los estudios sobre orientalismo en contextos hispanoamericanos, en colaboración con el proyecto de la universidad francesa de Clermont Auvergne, y por otro, a los estudios sobre autotraducción focalizados en Argentina en el marco del proyecto CONICET ?Autotraductores desde la Argentina. This subproject proposes, in addition to highlighting the comparative work of Argentine stamp, to reflect on the development of Comparatism in Argentina from a historical and critical perspective. Other ongoing subprojects are dedicated, on the one hand, to studies on Orientalism in Latin Americans contexts, in collaboration with the project of the French University of Clermont Auvergne, and on the other hand, to studies on self-translation focused on Argentina within the framework of the CONICET project ?Self-translators from Argentina. El programa pretende: elaborar y desarrollar proyectos grupales, contener y difundir subproyectos personales, establecer contactos, convenios e intercambios con organismos similares y con instituciones o delegaciones culturales de los distintos países de lengua inglesa, recopilar, sistematizar y catalogar información para elaborar un archivo de datos, separatas, artículos de publicaciones periódicas y libros que permitan la labor de los investigadores, analizar los procesos culturales y los textos resultantes desde la óptica nacional argentina y regional cuyana.

This project aims at: creating and developing group projects, supporting and publicising individual subprojects, generating contacts, agreements and exchanges with institutions or cultural delegations of different English-speaking countries, gathering, systematising and registering information for a data base, journal articles and books to facilitate the work of researchers, analysing the cultural processes and their resulting texts from a national (Argentinean) and regional (Cuyo) perspective.

La investigación aborda las características y especificidades del análisis historiográfico producido en América Latina desde el siglo XX (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, México, en particular), y se enmarca en la línea estratégica de la UNCuyo: ?Procesos históricos, prácticas, representaciones e imaginarios culturales, intelectuales, políticos y socioeconómicos en el contexto regional y mundial? (n° 24). Se analizarán las condiciones políticas, sociales, ideológicas, económicas y culturales en que fue posible la escritura de nuestra historia, sus cambios y modulaciones y la validez explicativa de sus propuestas, a través del reconocimiento de sus fundamentos teóricos y epistemológicos. Diferentes enfoques de la historiografía contemporánea latinoamericana han documentado, desde sus inicios, nuestros procesos organizativos. Pero recientemente, las controversias se han centrado en la persistencia de miradas y métodos que resultan ser ?colonizadores? en la producción de conocimiento histórico. No obstante que la región, mayormente, no fue modelo para otras escuelas historiográficas similarmente contextualizadas, sí es rescatable la apropiación crítica de nuestros hombres y mujeres, acerca de categorías y conceptualizaciones que transitaron la región. Se examinarán variadas voces, distintos formatos (escritos, imágenes, audios, obras materiales) y múltiples espacialidades y temporalidades expresadas en movimientos socio-culturales que explican nuestros procesos, para comprender esas disputas historiográficas por los sentidos y significaciones históricas de América Latina en el escenario mundial, así como su contribución a otras corrientes. Se utilizará la metodología de la historia de las ideas y de la ciencia del texto, junto con aportes de otras ciencias sociales y humanas (literatura, arte, sociología, patrimonio, economía, etc.) para examinar autores y corrientes historiográficas que, mediante la recepción y re-creación del pensamiento histórico, expresan notas de ideología, crítica y utopía. La investigación procura aportar al conocimiento sistematizado sobre saberes y procedimientos historiográficos gestados en América Latina y el Caribe desde el siglo XX y cooperar en la formación de recursos humanos mediante: la dirección del proyecto, realización de cursos y seminarios, concreción de tesinas, jornadas de estudio y debates y transferencia en docencia y comunicaciones científicas en congresos y publicaciones.

The research addresses the characteristics and specificities of the historiographical analysis produced in Latin America since the 20th century (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, in particular), and is part of the strategic line of the UNCuyo: "Historical processes, practices, representations and cultural, intellectual, political and socioeconomic imaginaries in the regional and global context? (n° 24). The political, social, ideological, economic and cultural conditions in which the writing of our history was possible, changes and modulations and the explanatory validity of its proposals will be analyzed, through the recognition of its theoretical and epistemological foundations. Different approaches to contemporary Latin American historiography have documented, since its inception, our organizational processes. Recently, controversies have focused on the persistence of views and methods that turn out to be 'colonizers' in the production of historical knowledge. Despite the fact that the region, for the most part, was not a model for other historiographical schools similarly contextualized, the critical appropriation of our men and women about categories and conceptualizations that passed through the region can be rescued. Various voices, different formats (writings, images, audios, material works) and multiple spatialities and temporalities expressed in socio-cultural movements that explain our processes will be examined, in order to understand these historiographical disputes over the meanings and historical meanings of Latin America on stage, as well as its contribution to other currents. The methodology of the history of ideas and the science of the text will be used, along with contributions from other social and human sciences (literature, art, sociology, heritage, economics, etc.) to examine authors and historiographical currents that, through reception and re-creation of historical thought, express notes of ideology, criticism and utopia. The research seeks to contribute to systematized knowledge on historiographical information and procedures developed in Latin America and the Caribbean since the 20th century and to cooperate in the training of human resources through: project management, courses and seminars, preparation of dissertations, seminars, study and debates and transfer in teaching and scientific communications in congresses and publications.

Los conceptos de marginalidad y pobreza y la gran diversidad del espacio urbano que se expresa en su fragmentación e insuficiente integración constituyen el primer eje temático del proyecto. Sin embargo, comprender y constatar tales situaciones deficitarias y contrastes internos en la ciudad, distan mucho de poder medirlos. Por ello, la segunda línea igualmente importante se refiere a las metodologías para visualizar la diferenciación socio-territorial intraurbana. Existe coincidencia acerca de la utilidad de contar con un diagnóstico preciso de la realidad intraurbana que incluya la dimensión territorial como componente prioritario. La primera fase de la investigación (2019-2021) muestra la necesidad de profundizar el estudio ampliando las vinculaciones entre las distintas dimensiones de la marginalidad. Para ello es preciso correlacionar y sintetizar múltiples variables a diferentes niveles escalares, aplicando metodologías más completas e integrales y culminando en la representación de los resultados mediante cartografía temática. La investigación se desarrolla con tres finalidades esenciales: cómo seleccionar y compatibilizar información procedente de distintas fuentes a los efectos de contar con indicadores idóneos para medir las dimensiones relevantes de la marginalidad urbana, cómo relacionar y sintetizar esa información mediante la aplicación de procedimientos para generar un cuerpo integrado de conocimiento territorial sobre el área de estudio, poniendo énfasis en su representación cartográfica, y, por último, cómo evaluar, desde una perspectiva metodológica, la adecuación y complementariedad de esos procedimientos para expresar el aspecto espacial de la diferenciación socio-territorial intraurbana. El área de estudio comprende el conjunto del Gran Mendoza, con la opción de focalizar en algunos sectores particulares para temáticas seleccionadas, trabajando a distintas escalas. El objetivo general busca comprender la relevancia de la complementación de metodologías para visualizar el carácter multidimensional y pluriescalar de la marginalidad e integración en el espacio urbano. El diseño metodológico se orienta a generar una colección e interpretación de material demostrativo gráfico y cartográfico para diferentes destinatarios y su transferencia a los municipios y otras instituciones. Al tiempo que la verificación de la pertinencia de los diversos instrumentos metodológicos será difundida y transferida en ámbitos técnicos y académicos apropiados.

The concepts of marginality and poverty and the great diversity of urban space expressed in its fragmentation and insufficient integration constitute the first thematic axis of the project. However, understanding and verifying such deficit situations and internal contrasts in the city are far from being able to measure them. Therefore, the second equally important line concerns methodologies for visualizing intra-urban socio-territorial differentiation. There is agreement on the usefulness of having an accurate diagnosis of the intra-urban reality that includes the territorial dimension as a priority component. The first phase of the research (2019-2021) shows the need to deepen the study by broadening the linkages between the different dimensions of marginality. This requires correlating and synthesizing multiple variables at different scale levels, applying more complete and comprehensive methodologies and culminating in the representation of the results through thematic cartography. The research is developed with three essential aims: how to select and make compatible information from different sources in order to have suitable indicators to measure the relevant dimensions of urban marginality, how to relate and synthesize this information by applying procedures to generate an integrated body of territorial knowledge about the study area, with emphasis on its cartographic representation, and, finally, how to evaluate, from a methodological perspective, the adequacy and complementarity of these procedures to express the spatial aspect of intra-urban socio-territorial differentiation. The study area comprises the whole of Greater Mendoza, with the option of focusing on some particular sectors for selected themes, working at different scales. The general objective seeks to understand the relevance of complementing methodologies to visualize the multidimensional and multi-scale nature of marginality and integration in urban space. The methodological design aims to generate a collection and interpretation of graphic and cartographic demonstrative material for different target audiences and its transfer to municipalities and other institutions. Whereas the verification of the adequacy of the various methodological tools will be disseminated and transferred in appropriate technical and academic fields.

Impulsados por la necesidad de discutir y adaptar las nuevas herramientas tecnológicas a nuestras tareas de Investigación en archivos y fuentes documentales, quienes nos dedicamos a la Geografía Histórica, a la Historia ambiental, a la Arqueología y a las Humanidades Digitales necesitamos un lugar de confluencia académica donde aprender, debatir y trabajar en el desarrollo de nuevos planteos teóricos-metodológicos que permitan la transformación digital de bibliotecas y archivos, con tecnología adecuada a nuestros contextos latinoamericanos y argentinos, siguiendo los principios del acceso abierto y la tecnología libre, en definitiva poniendo la información al servicio de la investigación y de la comunidad en su totalidad, fomentando la democratización de la información científica, histórica y administrativa.

Driven by the need to discuss and adapt new technological tools to our research tasks in archives and documentary sources, those of us dedicated to Historical Geography, Environmental History, Archaeology and Digital Humanities need a place of academic confluence where we can learn, debate and work on the development of new theoretical-methodological approaches that allow the digital transformation of libraries and archives, with technology appropriate to our Latin American and Argentine contexts, following the principles of open access and free technology, ultimately putting the information at the service of research and the community as a whole, promoting the democratization of scientific, historical and administrative information.

La literatura ha tratado el tema de la peste - las distintas pandemias a lo largo de la historia - recurrentemente. Entre los autores canónicos que han puesto en página las pandemias que asolaron la humanidad a lo largo de los siglos, podemos mencionar a Sófocles y Eurípides en la Antigüedad clásica, pasando por Boccaccio en la Edad Media, Shakespeare en el Renacimiento, y ya en tiempos modernos,Dostoevsky o Artaud. ¿Por qué en épocas y espacios diferentes se vuelve recurrente el tema de la pandemia? Esto se debe a que el impacto de las distintas pestes sobre las sociedades ha sido siempre enorme, ha afectado las relaciones humanas y destruido las especificidades, por su capacidad de nivelar a todos por igual. La pandemia del Covid-19 no ha sido una excepción. El mundo entero cambió y junto con él, nuestras vidas. Desde la mirada bioética, las pandemias han sido motivo de análisis, sobre todo en el comportamiento humano y específicamente, desde la biopolítica. Las decisiones y medidas tomadas en escenarios de emergencia sanitaria han sido una constante preocupación para esta interdisciplina.Por su parte, desde el inicio mismo de la pandemia de Covid-19, la literatura se hizo presente a través de infinidad de escritores que necesitaron ser voceros de los sentimientos generalizados. Se asistió, además, al afianzamiento de la literatura virtual (e-literature), que "vino para quedarse". La literatura siempre ha respondido a la realidad. Ya sea como relatos realistas, textos de cienciaficción, poesía testimonial, ensayos u otros géneros, la escritura literaria da cuenta de los modos en que individuos y sociedades responden a las pandemias como momentos de crisis y, en consecuencia, de cambios. Este proyecto se integra en la línea de investigación estratégica nº 25. Problemáticas de las sociedades contemporáneas desde el campo de las humanidades y las ciencias sociales: humanismo y poshumanismo, perspectiva de género, reflexiones teóricas sobre la pospandemia.

Literature has dealt with pandemics acorss time and space. Among canonical writers who wrote about pandemics we can mention Sophocles and Euripides in the Ancient world, Boccaccio in the Moddle Ages, Shakespeare in the Renaissance, Dostoievsky and Artaud in modern times. This recurrent theme can be explained by reference to the equalizing power of a pandemic, which affects human relations and societies. Covid-19 has not been an exception, as it provoked immense changes in our lives. From a bioethical perspective, pandemics can be studied in their impact on human behaviour and biopolitics. Decisions during the emergency context have been a source of concern for interdisciplinary studies. In literature, on the other hand, Covid-19 found echoes in a myriad of writers, many through e-literature. Realist texts, sciencefiction, testimonial poetry, essays etc all show how individuals and societies react to critical experiences which bring about great changes.

El proyecto propone estudiar la frontera sur del Imperio español en la provincia de Mendoza, desde un abordaje multidisciplinario y multiescalar. Si bien nos enfocamos en el proceso de ocupación del territorio entre los ríos Tunuyán y Atuel a partir de la conquista española y hasta inicios del siglo XIX, reconocemos que la configuración del área como frontera ecológica e interétnica es un proceso de larga duración como sostiene el registro arqueológico de miles de años previos a la ocupación europea. Asimismo, los procesos de conformación de nuevas identidades en la frontera continúan luego del afianzamiento de la ocupación hispano-criolla del territorio y del avance del estado liberal. Proponemos estudiar los cambios que la colonización impuso sobre las comunidades indígenas locales en tres dimensiones: la ocupación del espacio y la configuración de nuevos paisajes sociales, la incorporación de nuevos bienes y el cambio en las tecnologías tradicionales, y la estabilidad o el cambio en el acceso a los recursos alimenticios y en las prácticas culturales, económicas y sociales de procesamiento y consumo de los alimentos (foodways).La metodología de investigación conjuga métodos y técnicas de la arqueología y la historia. El estudio arqueológico consistirá en prospecciones microregionales sistemáticas, excavaciones de sitio y procedimientos convencionales para el análisis de los restos materiales (tecnologías tradicionales lítica y cerámica, y bienes importados, restos óseos y botánicos) y análisis distribucionales para los datos espaciales. Se conformará una base de los datos que resulten de estos análisis que se integrará a los estudios previos. En tanto que el abordaje de las fuentes documentales se abocará a la reconstrucción de un corpus fragmentario, buscando complementar y contrastar los documentos oficiales (burocráticos y militares) con otro tipo de documentación que dé cuenta de la vida cotidiana de los grupos subalternos que poblaron la frontera. Se espera contribuir con nuevos conocimientos que confluyan con otros saberes en una construcción más plural y democrática del patrimonio cultural del Centro y Sur de Mendoza.

The project proposes to study the southern frontier of the Spanish Empire in the province of Mendoza, from a multidisciplinary and multiscale approach. Although we focus on the colonial process between the Tunuyán and Atuel rivers from the Spanish conquest until the beginning of the 19th century, we recognize that the configuration of the area as an ecological and interethnic frontier is a long durée process, as the archaeological record of thousands of years prior to the European occupation supports. Likewise, the processes of creating new identities in the frontier continued after the consolidation of the Spanish colonization and the advance of the liberal state. We propose to study the changes that the colonial process imposed on local indigenous communities in three dimensions: the occupation of space and the configuration of new social landscapes, the incorporation of new goods and the change in traditional technologies, and the stability or change in the access to food resources and in the cultural, economic and social practices of food processing and consumption (foodways).The research methodology combines methods and techniques from archaeology and history. The archaeological study will consist of systematic micro-regional surveys, site excavations and conventional procedures for the analysis of material remains (traditional lithic and ceramic technologies, and imported goods, bone and botanical remains) and distributional analysis for spatial data. A database of the data resulting from these analyses will be formed and integrated to previous studies. The approach to documentary sources will focus on the reconstruction of a fragmentary corpus, seeking to complement and contrast the official documents (bureaucratic and military) with other types of sources that account for the daily life of the subaltern groups that inhabited the frontier. It is expected to contribute with new knowledge that converge with other in a more plural and democratic construction of the cultural heritage of Central and Southern Mendoza.

Durante esta segunda etapa se seguirán dos líneas de investigación complementarias. Por un lado, desde la perspectiva de la Poética Histórica, el estudio de las novelas del Ciclo de la Tiranía se completará con textos de Juana Manso, Juana Manuela Gorriti y Eduarda Mansilla, con el fin de analizar las peculiares formas de implementar el programa literario fundacional que tienen las escritoras. Este objetivo incluye la publicación de una edición crítica de Los misterios del Plata o Guerras civiles del Río de la Plata, de Manso. Por otro lado, se indagará sobre el canon y la recepción de la literatura argentina del siglo XIX en las escuelas secundarias de Mendoza, con el fin último de revisar y problematizar la didáctica de la historia literaria.

During this second stage, two complementary lines of research will be followed. On the one hand, from the perspective of Historical Poetics, the study of the novels of the Cycle of Tyranny will be completed by texts of Juana Manso, Juana Manuela Gorriti and Eduarda Mansilla, in order to analyze the peculiar ways of implementing the foundational literary program that women writers have. This objective includes the publication of a critical edition of Los misterios del Plata o Guerras civiles del Río de la Plata, by Manso. On the other hand, it will inquire about the canon and the reception of nineteenth-century Argentine literature in secondary schools in Mendoza, with the ultimate purpose of reviewing and problematizing the didactics of literary history.

El proyecto se focalizará en las modalidades a través de las cuales la producción de documental acompañó el proceso de burocratización del Estado provincial mendocino, contribuyendo a su conformación simbólica tanto como material. Se abordarán diversos ámbitos de la esfera del gobierno durante el siglo XIX para reconstruir las prácticas de escritura desplegadas por los funcionarios al recibir y dar órdenes o notificar su cumplimiento, observar cómo y en qué contextos se evidenció una voluntad de acumulación y sistematización de esta documentación generada en el ejercicio del gobierno, y las estrategias implementadas para ello, todo esto con el fin de pensar cómo la estatalidad se construye en, y a través de, los lenguajes y sus diversos formatos de circulación, es decir, a través de qué dicen, cómo dicen y cómo registran y organizan lo que dicen los legítimos representantes de aquella. Si bien en algunos casos se podrá trabajar con fuentes compulsadas durante el desarrollo de los proyectos anteriores, ahora indagadas a partir de nuevos interrogantes centrados no tanto en su contenido sino en el estilo formal que trasuntan, también requerirá la incorporación de otras nuevas conservadas en el Archivo General de la Provincia de Mendoza.

This project will focus on the modalities through which the document production came along with the process of bureaucratization of the State in Mendoza province, contributing both to its symbolic as well as its material shaping. In order to think how Statality is built within and through the languages and its different formats of circulation, this is, what and how its legitimate representatives said, organized and registered what was said, different aspects of the government during the XIX century will be addressed so as to reconstruct the writing practices performed by public officers when giving and receiving orders or notifying their accomplishment. It will also be observed how and in which contexts there was a clear willingness to accumulate and systematize these documents elaborated while in governance and the strategies implemented to that end. While in may cases it will be possible to work with certified sources from previous projects, now inquired with new questions focusing rather on the formal style of their transcripts than on their content, it will be additionally required to work with new ones from the General Archive of Mendoza.

El Paso Internacional Vergara atraviesa la Cordillera de Los Andes, se encuentra en el centro oeste de la Provincia de Mendoza y comunica el Departamento de Malargüe con el norte de la Región del Maule (Chile), a través de la Ruta Nacional N°145 y la Ruta Provincial N°226. Es un corredor que cuenta con un variado e importante patrimonio geomorfológico que puede ser utilizado para diversos fines (turismo, educación, investigación científica, actividades deportivas) y cuyo inventario, valoración y gestión es fundamental frente a actividades económicas en crecimiento y futuras obras de infraestructura a concretarse en ese espacio. El conocimiento y puesta en valor del patrimonio geomorfológico del Paso Vergara supone un cambio positivo en las relaciones relieve-sociedad, concientizando al ser humano de la necesidad de protección de dicho recurso, lo que permitirá disponer de una herencia para generaciones futuras como bien comunitario. Los Sitios Geomorfológicos Patrimoniales del área del Paso Internacional Vergara serán inventariados y evaluados con el fin de su gestión y conservación. Se utilizará una metodología que parte del inventario de los sitios patrimoniales geomorfológicos con la elaboración de un mapa geomorfológico. La selección de los sitios se concretará por el Valor científico que se establece en función de las características especiales que evidencian los diferentes modelados y sus procesos asociados (pasados y actuales). Posteriormente se analizarán otros valores como los añadidos (Valor cultural ? histórico, Valor estético ? paisajístico, Valor ecológico) el Valor de uso (Valor económico y el Valor educativo y el Valor de susceptibilidad a la degradación natural y antrópica a las que están expuestos los relieves. La valoración será cuantitativa y finalmente se propondrán recomendaciones para la preservación y difusión de los mismos frente al uso público.

The Vergara International Pass crosses the Andes Mountain Range, is located in the central west of the Province of Mendoza and connects the Department of Malargüe with the north of the Maule Region (Chile), through National Route No. 145 and Provincial Route No. 226. It is a corridor that has a varied and important geomorphological heritage that can be used for various purposes (tourism, education, scientific research, sports activities) and whose inventory, assessment and management is essential in the face of growing economic activities and future infrastructure works. to materialize in that space.The knowledge and enhancement of the geomorphological heritage of Paso Vergara represents a positive change in relief-society relations, making human beings aware of the need to protect this resource, which will allow having an inheritance for future generations as a community asset. The Patrimonial Geomorphological Sites of the Paso Internacional Vergara area will be inventoried and evaluated for the purpose of their management and conservation. A methodology will be used that starts from the inventory of geomorphological heritage sites with the elaboration of a geomorphological map. The selection of the sites will be specified by the Scientific Value that is established based on the special characteristics that show the different models and their associated processes (past and current). Subsequently, other values will be analyzed, such as the added values (cultural - historical value, aesthetic - landscape value, ecological value), use value (economic value and educational value, and the value of susceptibility to natural and anthropic degradation to which the buildings are exposed). The assessment will be quantitative and finally recommendations will be proposed for the preservation and dissemination of the same against public use.
